The Arizona State Fair runs from

From parking information to must-have items and more, we’ve got everything you need to know before you go. Let’s make this Fair season the best one yet!
DATES & OPENING HOURS
OPENING WEEKEND ONLY (FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 22) GATES OPEN AT 4 PM
ALL OTHER DATES (THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27) GATES OPEN AT 12 PM
PARKING OPTIONS
NORTH LOT – $15 | Enter off 19th Ave & Monte Vista or Encanto. The North Lot opens at 2 p.m. (Sep 20 – 22), and 10 a.m. (Sep 26 – Oct 27).
WEST LOT – $15 | Between 19th Ave & 20th Ave, enter off Encanto. The West Lot opens at 2 p.m. (Sep 20 – 22), and 10 a.m. (Sep 26 – Oct 27).
PARK N’ RIDE AT PHOENIX COLLEGE – Enter off 15th Ave or Thomas Road. Tide the $2 shuttle to the Fairgrounds. Shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Lot opens at 5 p.m. Thursday – Friday and 12 p.m. Saturday – Sunday.
RIDE SHARE PICK UP/ DROP OFF – Enter off Monte Vista and 19th Ave.
ADMISSION TICKETS
General admission tickets can be purchased at Azstatefair.com, on-site at all three entrance gates, or on the Arizona State Fair app (available on Apple Store and Google Play).
UPON ENTRY
BAG POLICY – All bags, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection. All guests will walk through metal detectors and may be subject to pat-down searches/ magnetic-wanding if deemed necessary. Clear bags are encouraged for faster entry.
OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK POLICY – No outside food or drinks will be permitted. One factory sealed water bottle (per person)/ one empty container (per person) are permitted. Free refillable water stations are provided throughout the fairgrounds.
ANIMALS/PETS – Service dogs are welcome, provided they are on a leash or maintained at all times. Service animals are not permitted to accompany patrons on rides. A member of your party must remain with the animal at all times.
WHAT TO PACK
EMPTY WATER BOTTLE/CONTAINER – Staying hydrated is key. One factory sealed water bottle (per person)/ one empty container (per person) are permitted. Free refillable water stations are provided throughout the fairgrounds.
COMFORTABLE CLOTHING/SHOES – We encourage fairgoers to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for extended walking and outdoor activities.
PORTABLE PHONE CHARGERS – To ensure fairgoers capture every moment of fun, we recommend bringing a portable charger.
SUNSCREEN – When visiting during the day time, sunscreen is essential to protect your skin while having a safe and enjoyable experience at the fair.
