Arizona’s homegrown talent is taking over the Arizona State Fair!
Every Thursday night, four local bands will take the stage and go head-to-head in front of Fair guests and judges. But they can’t do it alone – fans will help decide who moves on!
Come to the Fair on your favorite band’s competition night, bring your crew, cheer them on, and cast your vote to help send them to the Grand Finale.
One winning band from each qualifying round will advance to the ultimate showdown on October 29 inside the iconic Veterans Memorial Coliseum aka the legendary Madhouse on McDowell!

Your vote matters! Attend the Fair on your band’s qualifying night, watch them perform live and help them earn their spot in the Grand Finale. Each qualifying night, four Arizona bands will perform a 20-minute set live at the Fair.

How the Competition Works

FREE with Fair admission
- 4 Bands Compete → Each band performs a 20-minute live set.
- You Help Decide → Guest judges AND the live audience cast their votes.
- 1 Band Advances → One winner from each Thursday night moves on to the Grand Finale.
- The Winner Is Revealed LIVE → Stick around! Each qualifying winner will be announced live after the votes are tallied.
