Your safety and welfare at the Arizona State Fair are important to us! All purses, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection. Guests may be subject to walk-through metal detectors, pat-down searches, and/or magnetic wanding.

The 2023 Arizona State Fair opens Friday, September 22 through Sunday, October 29.

Opening Weekend (Sep 22-24) Opens at 4 p.m.

Open Thursdays through Sundays.

10 a.m. North and West Parking Lots open

12 p.m. Admission Gates Open

9 p.m. Barns close

10 p.m. Shopping Pavilion close

Fair closes with lights on the award-winning La Grande Wheel go dark.

The Coliseum Concert Series returns in 2023, with every seat reserved and includes your Fair Admission ticket.  All shows are “An Evening With…” with no opener and a 7 p.m. start.  Doors open at 6 p.m.

Prices start at $25 and include Fair Admission ($15).

Children 2 and under are free if sitting on a parent’s lap.

Your safety and the safety of others is a crucial element to having fun at the Fair. Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, and diaper bags are subject to inspection. Guests may be subject to walk-through metal detectors, pat down searches and/or magnetic wanding.

Upon entry, all bags, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection. Guests will be subject to walk-through metal detectors, pat-down searches, and/or magnetic wanding. Clear bags are encourage for faster entry.

No outside drinks or food will be permitted on the fairgrounds. Food and drinks will be sold by vendors for the full duration of the Fair. Empty water bottles/containers are permitted and free refillable water stations are provided throughout the fairgrounds.

Service dogs are welcome at the Arizona State Fair provided they are on a leash or maintained at all times. Unfortunately, service animals are not permitted to accompany patrons on rides due to safety reasons. A member of your party must remain with the animal at all times.

For a fun and safe visit to the Arizona State Fairgrounds, all guests must abide by our Code of Conduct

  • Disorderly, disruptive, harmful or criminal conduct
  • Unlawful possession of alcohol, narcotics or illegal substances
  • Possession of any article defined as a weapon

If you have questions regarding the Code of Conduct, please visit the Security Office located at the southwest corner of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Surrendered items will not be returned.

For guest safety, drones are not permitted on or around the fairgrounds at any time.
