Read Stories. Earn Free Rides.
Children ages 5–14 can earn their way to the thrills of the Midway by exploring new stories before the Fair begins. This is the only way to earn free rides at the Fair!
1️⃣ Discover a Story – Read a book! (Or two. Or three.) Whether it’s a classic tale or a new favorite, every story counts toward your next adventure.
2️⃣ Document the Wonder – Fill out the Official Read & Ride Report Form. Share a memorable moment that left you star-struck and have a parent or guardian sign off on your quest.
3️⃣ Visit the Redemption Booth – Bring your completed form(s) to the Read & Ride Booth, inside the Shopping Pavilion (West side of the Fairgrounds).
4️⃣ Join the Midway Magic – Trade your reports for free ride passes and experience the dazzling wonders of the Fair!
Redemption is only available on-site during the 2026 Arizona State Fair. A parent or guardian 18+ must be present to redeem.
