Family Fun

Summary:

The same carnival rides you loved during your childhood—plus plenty of modern additions—are a highlight for guests of all ages that come to the state fair. Whether you prefer rides that will test your fear factor or those that are more “chill” than “thrill,” there’s a Twister, Wacky Worm, or Galaxy Coaster for you. Other returning favorites include the Monkey Maze, Freestyle, and appropriately named OMG—something for every age and level of fear (and fun) factor. Bring your family for fair fun!

Then check out The Edible Journey presented by Purdue University and learn how food gets from the earth to the table. And Rock U: The Institute of Rock ‘n’ Roll, a tour through the ages of rock and how we listened, from the stereo console, through the 8-track, cassettes, vinyl and (gasp) the Walkman. Explore the British Invasion, take a walk down memory lane with Shaun Cassidy, and tap your feet on the Big Keyboard.
