We are so excited to announce that the iconic post-punk and hard rock trailblazers, The Cult, will be joining the Coliseum Concert Series presented by Arizona Lottery lineup! This is for everyone who’s been asking for serious hard rock at the Fair this year.
Formed in 1984, The Cult emerged from England’s post-punk scene to become one of the most influential and enduring rock bands of their generation. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Ian Astbury and guitar hero Billy Duffy, the band has released 11 studio albums and earned multiple gold and platinum certifications across the U.S. and internationally.
They first rose to prominence with their breakthrough 1985 album Love, featuring the timeless anthem “She Sells Sanctuary” and fan-favorite “Rain.” Their 1989 release Sonic Temple delivered even more iconic tracks like “Love Removal Machine,” “Lil’ Devil,” and “Wild Flower,” praised for their swaggering, high-octane sound. Most recently, The Cult released Under the Midnight Sun, which critics hailed for its intensity and atmospheric power. In 2023, Astbury and Duffy even revived their early incarnation Death Cult for a sold-out run of shows, proving their enduring legacy.
