Planning your visit to the Arizona State Fair 2026 (October 1 – November 1)? Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive at the Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix.

Service dogs are welcome at the Arizona State Fair and must be on a leash or properly maintained at all times.

For safety reasons, service animals are not permitted on rides. A member of your party must remain with the animal at all times.

Clear bags are encouraged for faster entry.

All bags, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection upon entry.

To ensure a safe and welcoming environment, guests may not engage in:

  • Disorderly or disruptive behavior
  • Criminal conduct
  • Possession of illegal substances
  • Possession of weapons

Questions? Visit the Security Office at the SW corner of the Coliseum.

All Coliseum Concert Series seats are reserved and include Fair admission.

  • All shows begin at 7 p.m.
  • Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • “An Evening With…” format (no opener)

For most shows, children 2 and under are free if seated on a parent or guardian’s lap.

If you have a concert ticket — your Fair admission is included.

Admission Gate Hours

Thursday: 12 p.m. – Last entry at 9 p.m.
Friday: 12 p.m. – Last entry at 10 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – Last entry at 10 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. – Last entry at 9 p.m.

The Carnival wraps up when the lights on La Grande XL Wheel go dark for the night.

Building Hours

Barns: Closes at 9 p.m.
North & South Coliseum Halls: Closes at 10 p.m.
Shopping Pavilion & The Hangout: Closes at 10 p.m.

Parking

North and West Parking Lots open daily at 10 a.m.

Ride Share pick-up and drop-off is located in the North Coliseum Parking Lot (enter off Monte Vista and 19th Avenue).

For guest safety, drones are not permitted on or around the fairgrounds at any time.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Allowed items:

  • ONE (1) factory-sealed bottle of water
  • Empty refillable water bottles

Free refill water stations are located throughout the Fairgrounds.

When you enter the Arizona State Fairgrounds, photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, or inclusion on websites. You further waive all rights you may have to any claims in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication.

  • Walk-through metal detectors
  • Pat-down searches
  • Magnetic wanding

These measures help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • Pepper spray or mace
  • Tasers or stun devices
  • Knives with blades longer than 2”
  • Sharp metal objects
  • Narcotics or illegal substances

Surrendered items will not be returned.
