Local Phoenix muralists bring their incredible unique talent to the Fair. Watch art come to life as a different artist everyday transforms a blank canvas to a one-of-a-kind piece of art. From portraits of bands to fence climbing goats, each picture will contain something Fair related. Paintings stay on display throughout the Fair.
About Maverick Akin:
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Maverick Akin is a self-taught artist who moved to Phoenix during the COVID-19 pandemic to pursue his creative dreams. Working across multiple mediums, he is best known for his signature “Nobody’s” characters – placeholders and mirrors for viewers to reflect on shared human experiences.
