Planning a Trip to The 2024 Arizona State Fair? Here’s What You Need to Know.

The Arizona State Fair is back for its 140th year anniversary, and it’s packed with something special for everyone. Whether you’re looking to soar high on one of 67 thrilling rides, satisfy your cravings with endless food options, or enjoy an array of performances and attractions, we’ve got the ultimate guide to help you make the most of your fair experience.

 

Dive Into Savings

Who doesn’t like a good deal? The Arizona State Fair is offering several promotions and discounts for veterans, kids, and other visitors. To take advantage of these offers, be sure to purchase your admission tickets online. General admission is $15 for ages 8 and up, while children under 7 get in free. Check out these 2024 Arizona State Fair deals and discounts: 

  • Feel Good Fridays Presented by Sanderson Ford 
    • Support St. Mary’s Food Bank by bringing 10 cans of non-perishable food items on any Fair Friday (excluding opening Friday, September 20) to receive one free admission ticket! 
  • Taste of the Fair
    • Indulge in a little bit of everything the Fair food vendors have to offer. This deal allows you to eat your way through the fair each Friday from noon to 6 p.m. (excluding opening day) for just $3 per item. 
  • Unlimited Ride Wristbands
    • Enjoy unlimited rides every Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. with a wristband purchase on-site for $50. Wristbands valid until 8 p.m.
  • Read and Ride
    • Unlock a world of excitement, knowledge, and endless possibilities with the Arizona State Fair’s Read and Ride Program. Kids ages 5-14 can exchange a completed book for a free ride. For more details on redeeming ride passes, visit here
  • Armed Forces Day Presented by USAA 
    • Celebrate our 140th birthday with our hometown heroes! In honor of their dedication and sacrifice, veterans, active duty service members, and their families (up to 4 people) receive free Fair admission on Friday, October 11 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets can be redeemed online using code: USAA.
  • Friends 55+ Presented by HonorHealth 
    • Join us on October 18 from noon to 6 p.m. for a day of laughter and nostalgia as we celebrate friends 55+. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment featuring bingo games and dance to the unforgettable hits from the prince of funk with our Prince Tribute band. Where the Thrill Begins!

Featuring over 60 stomach-hurling rides, including three ferris wheels, Dodgem, and Zipper, there’s plenty to get your adrenaline pumping. Rides range from three to nine tickets. 

Not into rides? The Coliseum Concert Series, presented by Arizona Lottery, returns to the fairgrounds for an iconic and nostalgic lineup of performances from All-American Rejects, I Love the 90s Tour feat. Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, and Montell Jordan, and teen sensation Big Time Rush. Prices start at $25. All seats are reserved and include Fair Admission ($15 value). Plus, your Fair admission gives you access to other free shows and activities for all ages.  

 

Grandstand Series 

Experience the thrill of the Grandstand Series with events like Figure 8 Races, All Star Monster Trucks, Xtreme Bulls, and Quarter Midget Racing. For the full event schedule, click here

 

Tribute Bands 

Right across from the Grandstands, go back in time as tribute bands honor musical legends with riveting performances. From Selena and Bee Gee Gold to Black Eyed Tease and Bruno Mars, there are 20 shows to experience the music of your favorite bands like never before. Shows are daily at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m in the Backyard. 

 

Heritage Museum 

Explore the Fair’s rich history at the new walk-through Heritage Museum located in the North Hall of the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Journey through the Fair’s 140-year evolution and celebrate its legacy.
