Thanks to the Read and Ride program, Fairgoers ages 5-14 can earn free carnival rides through the magic of reading. For every book read, children can earn one free ride pass, up to a maximum of three passes per child. This unique program transforms reading into exhilarating rides, allowing the whole family to enjoy more Fair fun without extra costs!
By combining education with entertainment, young readers can earn thrilling rewards for their literary efforts, ensuring a day at the Fair is both rewarding and memorable.
How to Redeem Free Ride Passes:
- Pick one to three books approved by a teacher, parent, or guardian. Each child can earn up to three free ride passes, one book per ride.
- Using the Official Read and Ride Report Form, share a 25-word summary and a memorable moment from the book.
- Before visiting, have your teacher, parent, or guardian sign and verify the Official Read and Ride Report Form.
- Bring the completed form inside the Shopping Pavilion during the Arizona State Fair to receive your free ride passes. Children must be present to redeem their passes.
