The safety and welfare of our guests are important. Therefore, all purses, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection., including walk-through metal detectors, pat-down searches, and/or magnetic wanding.
Service dogs are welcome at the Arizona State Fair provided they are on a leash or maintained at all times. Unfortunately, service animals are not permitted to accompany patrons on rides due to safety reasons. A member of your party must remain with the animal at all times.
Clear bags are encouraged for faster entry. Upon entry, all bags, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection. Guests will pass through a metal detector, be subject to pat-down searches, and/or magnetic wanding.
For a fun and safe visit to the Arizona State Fairgrounds, all guests must abide by our Code of Conduct:
- Disorderly, disruptive, harmful or criminal conduct
- Unlawful possession of alcohol, narcotics or illegal substances
- Possession of any article defined as a weapon
If you have questions regarding the Code of Conduct, please visit the Security Office located at the SW corner of the Coliseum.
Every seat in the Coliseum Concert Series is reserved, and includes your Fair Admission (a $15 value). All shows are “An Evening With…” with no opener and a 7 p.m. start. Doors open at 6 p.m.
For most shows, Children 2 and under are free if sitting on a parent or guardian’s lap.

The Fair stays open based on crowd size, and the Carnival wraps up when the lights on the La Grande XL Wheel (located on the SW corner of the Fairgrounds) go dark.

For guest safety, drones are not permitted on or around the fairgrounds at any time.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted on the Fairgrounds. Empty water bottles/containers are permitted, and free refillable water stations are provided throughout the Fairgrounds. ONE (1) factory-sealed bottle of water is permitted.
When you enter the Arizona State Fairgrounds, photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, or inclusion on websites. You further waive all rights you may have to any claims in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication.
