Treat Yourself Tuesday

mav-768×959Whether you were strolling the aisles inside the Shopping Pavilion, searching for the newest hot sauce or custom artwork, or you were underneath the Grandstand, the sounds of rides and motorsports surrounding you while you enjoyed your Kettlecorn, the Fair embodies the pieces that make us Arizona.

For the past several years, Mexican Arts and Imports has provided Fairgoers with art and culture to own and to admire. Treat yourself to this piece of the Fair right here and own your own authentic Mexican decor.

We hope to see you all once it is safe to be together again.

Here at the Fair you can find anything from a Hot Cheeto Pickle to a beautifully designed, hand-blown glass Ferris Wheel.

For three years, Glass Magic AZ has provided our fairgoers with a handcrafted piece of the Fair. From hand-blown glass ornaments and jewelry to designs you create, Glass Magic Arizona can help you now. Why wait until October?

Caricatures by Gary

For almost half a century, Gary from Caricatures by Gary has drawn memories for thousands of guests at the Arizona State Fair.

“I’ve been drawing caricatures at the State Fair since 1974 and I’ve loved every minute of it. My customers are always the best part. They come to my booth to create a memory and many of them come back year after year. They seem to enjoy it as much as I do!”

Why wait until October – how about a digital caricature of you and your cute pet right now?

A Spice Above Arizona

Being at home means cooking at home! Lucky for you, Sherri from A Spice Above Arizona (a longtime vendor) sent us a delicious recipe that you can cook for your loved ones with one of her famous spices.

Asiago Chicken and Pasta

  • What you will need:
  • 1lb of Chicken tenders (diced)
  • 8 oz Egg Pasta Noodles
  • 1 red bell pepper (diced)
  • Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder
  • A Spice Above Asiago Spice Dip (make the night before)

Dip Ingredients:

Mix one packet of Aged Alpine Asiago with 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup of mayo. Store in the refrigerator overnight.

Directions:

  1. Fry up 1 package of chicken tenders
  2. Add the red bell pepper
  3. Season chicken with salt, pepper & garlic powder
  4. Boil wide egg noodles
  5. Drain noodles, and add it to the chicken
  6. Heat up your asiago dip. Let the dip melt.
  7. Mix dip, noodles and chicken.
  8. Plate it up and sprinkle shaved parmesan
  9. Serve with a salad and bread

Impress your friends & family with this “homemade” asiago sauce. We won’t say a word. 😉
