Congratulations to the Class of 2026! You’ve put in the work, and now it’s time to walk the stage. To help your big day run smoothly, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know: from parking tips to a special celebration gift for the grads.

🎓 Commencement Schedule

 

Phoenix College Commencement
  • When: Friday, May 15, 2026 | 6:30 PM
  • Doors: Open approx. 30 minutes prior.
  • Parking: $12 per vehicle in the North Lot (accessible via 19th Ave and Monte Vista or Encanto). Student participants can receive one free parking pass by visiting the Hannelly Center, Welcome Desk, prior to the ceremony.  
Phoenix Union High School Graduations

Large PXU school ceremonies will be held at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Check your school’s assigned time and designated parking lot info below:

  • Doors: Open approx. 30 minutes prior
  • Parking: Free! See each school’s designated parking lot and map below.

🛡️ Prohibited Items & Safety

To ensure a safe and celebratory environment for all graduates and their families, please note that the following items are not allowed inside the Coliseum:

  • Balloons & Glass: No balloons or glass items (including vases and bottles).
  • Signage: Signs/posters larger than 11×17 (oversized signs can be left outside or at stroller checks).
  • Noise Makers: Air horns or other loud noisemakers are prohibited.
  • Food & Drink: No coolers or outside food and drink allowed.
  • Electronics & Safety: No laser devices or weapons of any kind.

📹 Can’t Make it in Person?

Don’t miss a single second of the festivities! All of the graduations listed above will be Livestreamed, so Grandma, Grandpa, and friends across the country can cheer from home.
