Arizona in Bloom 🌸🌵

This Earth Day, the Arizona State Fair is celebrating our state’s breathtaking wonder and beauty. We are thrilled to unveil our first-ever Commemorative Poster, a tribute to the incredible landscapes and life that define the Grand Canyon State.

The Fair’s graphic designer, Naomi Johnson, shared: “Creating this made me realize how much wonder Arizona really holds,” … “It gave me a deeper sense of state pride and a reminder that even when the summer heat is warm, we are part of a grand, thriving ecosystem.”

In honor of Earth Day, we’re sharing a piece of the Wonder that defines our amazing state. From protected landscapes to vibrant wildlife, this poster highlights the unique beauty that makes us proud to call Arizona home:

  • ❸ The Big Three: All three of Arizona’s National Parks: the Grand Canyon, Saguaro, and Petrified Forest.
  • 🏜️ Iconic Spots: Hidden gems and landmarks like Kartchner Caverns, Lost Dutchman, and Catalina State Park.
  • 🌵 State Symbols: A showcase of local life, from the Ringtail and Cactus Wren to the Apache Trout and the Saguaro bloom.
  • 🪾 Deep Roots: A tribute to the 22 federally recognized tribes of Arizona and the unique wonders their nations are known for.

Bring the Wonder Home

While this map will be available at our events throughout the year, we loved it so much that we wanted to share it with you early! We’ve created a printable version so you can display a piece of Arizona’s natural beauty in your own home starting today.

This commemorative piece is just the beginning of our journey into a “State of Wonder.” We can’t wait to celebrate everything that makes Arizona spectacular when the Arizona State Fair returns October 1 – November 1, 2026!

♥️ Happy Earth Day from the Arizona State Fair!
