Fair is… For Saving and Celebrating.

Step right up, fairgoers! The thrill and excitement of fantastic Fair fun is in the air so we’re rolling out some awesome deals and promotions that you don’t want to miss! We planned and prepared all year long to ensure we can keep your money in your pocket all while letting the good times roll. In addition to our annual deals, we’ve also partnered with different organizations to create more opportunities to guarantee you save even more. Read below to discover ways you can dive into the world of savings that await you at the Arizona State Fair.

Read and Ride

The Arizona State Fair’s Read and Ride Program fuses education and entertainment. Designed to inspire young minds, this innovative initiative encourages literary enthusiasm. For every book read is one free ride (up to three). If you’re looking for ways to motivate your young one to start or finish a book, look no further. This is the perfect opportunity to reward a dedicated reader- access to thrilling rides! Join us at the Arizona State Fair for an extraordinary adventure, where literature and exhilarating rides collide. Download the book report here and unlock a world of excitement, knowledge, and endless possibilities. 

This deal is active: Sept. 22 – Oct. 30

How to Redeem Free Ride Passes:

  1. Pick one book (or 2, or 3), and have your teacher, parent, or guardian approve. (*Reading 1 book gets you 1 free ride. You can redeem up to 3 ride passes.)
  2. Using the Official Read and Ride Report Form, share with us what the book was about, including a memorable moment.
  3. Have your teacher, parent, or guardian sign and verify the Official Read and Ride Report Form before driving to the Arizona State Fair.
  4. Bring the printed and signed form to the Shopping Pavilion during the Arizona State Fair to receive your free ride pass(es).  Check the Fairgrounds map on the website for the Shopping Pavilion location.
  5. You must be there to redeem the report for ride pass(es). Grown-ups may accompany you.
  6. Please note, the Official Read and Ride Report Form does not include Fair admission

Feel Good Fridays presented by Sanderson Ford

FAIR IS… FOR THE COMMUNITY! In the midst of the colorful commotion of Fair season, there’s an act that resonates deeply- supporting our community. It’s a gesture that brings warmth to the heart and a sense of fulfillment that’s hard to replicate; that’s why we have “Feel Good Fridays!” This is an initiative that is rooted in fostering compassion and creating a direct impact, by providing nourishment to families in need all over the state of Arizona. In partnership with Sanderson Ford’s Operation Santa Claus and St. Mary’s Food Bank, just bring in 10 items of non-perishable foods on one of the Friday dates below, and receive one free admission (10 items/1 admission ticket)!

Armed Forces Day presented by Global Credit Union

FAIR IS… FOR OUR HEROES! We are honored to extend a heartfelt salute to the men and women who have served our nation. To express our deep appreciation for their sacrifices and dedication, we’ve partnered with Vet Tix to provide free Fair admission exclusively for veterans, active duty service members, and their family (up to 4 tickets) on Armed Forces Day Friday presented by Global Credit Union. From 12pm – 6pm, veterans can enter with their ticket via Vet Tix and enjoy the day at the Fair. 

This deal is active: October 20 from 12pm – 6pm

If you, or someone you know has served or is currently serving, we invite you to submit a photo of them to display on video screens across the Fairgrounds on Armed Forces Day. Furthermore, we welcome everyone to stop by the Global Credit Union booth to write a short letter to send to troops currently serving overseas. This initiative embodies our gratitude and respect for those who have and are selflessly protecting our freedoms and upholding our values. 

Taste of the Fair 

FAIR IS… FOR THE FOODIES! One of the most prominent aspects of any Fair experience is the food. Step into a world where indulgence meets excitement, where every bite is a new adventure. The Fair isn’t just about rides and games – it’s a journey that caters to every palate. Everything from fry bread, corn dogs, to funnel cakes, and more- enjoy $3 Fair food items at every food stand on FRIDAYS (except opening Friday) from 12pm to 6pm. Foodies, your tastebuds will rejoice at this stellar deal to experience deep fried fun on a stick.

Unlimited Ride Wristband 

FAIR IS… NONSTOP FUN! You can’t put a price tag on fun, but we can definitely help you save. Elevate your Fair experience with nonstop fun for all ages on unlimited ride wristband Thursday. These wristbands are available for purchase ($50/person) every THURSDAY between 12pm to 6pm, and honored for use until 8pm. This deal is ONLY available on Thursdays so be sure to plan accordingly to ensure you’re taking advantage of every minute to hop on as many rides the State Fair has to offer like Disk’O, Cyclone, G-Force, and the Flying Dutchman.

The 2023 Arizona State Fair opens at 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 22, 23 and 24.  Beginning Thursday, September 28 and through Sunday, October 29, the Fair opens at noon.  Thursdays – Sundays.  Admission is $15 for ages 8 and older.
