The Arizona State Fair runs from Friday, September 19 – Sunday, October 26, 2025

 

Get ready for the ultimate experience at this year’s Arizona State Fair! Before you head out for all the fun, check out our quick tips below to make sure you’re fully prepared. From parking information, to must-have items and more, we’ve got everything you need to know before you go. Let’s make this Fair season the best one yet!

 DATES & OPENING HOURS

September Nights (FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28) GATES OPEN AT 5 PM

ALL OTHER DATES (THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2 – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28) GATES OPEN AT 12 PM

Fair is open Thursdays through Sundays

PARKING OPTIONS

NORTH LOT – $15 | Enter off 19th Ave & Monte Vista or Encanto.

 WEST LOT – $15 | Between 19th Ave & 20th Ave, enter off Encanto

PARK N’ RIDE AT PHOENIX COLLEGE – Enter off 15th Ave or Thomas Road. Enjoy a free and convenient ride to the Fair with our Phoenix College shuttle service. Shuttle services from Phoenix College will be available every 20 minutes, with the last shuttle to the Fair leaving at 9:40 PM on Fridays and at 8:40 PM on weekends. All shuttles will return to Phoenix College, with the last one leaving the Fairgrounds at 11 PM. *Note Shuttles do not run on Thursdays

RIDE SHARE PICK UP/ DROP OFF – Enter off Monte Vista and 19th Ave.

ADMISSION TICKETS

General admission tickets can be purchased at Azstatefair.com, on-site at all three entrance gates, or on the Arizona State Fair app (available on Apple Store and Google Play).

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

The safety and welfare of our guests are important.

BAG POLICY – All bags, backpacks, and diaper bags are subject to inspection. All guests will walk through metal detectors and may be subject to pat-down searches/ magnetic-wanding if deemed necessary. Clear bags are encouraged for faster entry.

OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK POLICY – No outside food or drinks will be permitted. One factory sealed water bottle (per person)/ one empty container (per person) are permitted. Free refillable water stations are provided throughout the fairgrounds.

ANIMALS/PETS – Service dogs are welcome, provided they are on a leash or maintained at all times. Service animals are not permitted to accompany patrons on rides. A member of your party must remain with the animal at all times.

WHAT TO PACK

EMPTY WATER BOTTLE/CONTAINER – Staying hydrated is key. One factory sealed water bottle (per person)/ one empty container (per person) are permitted. Free refillable water stations are provided throughout the fairgrounds.

COMFORTABLE CLOTHING/SHOES – We encourage Fairgoers to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for extended walking and outdoor activities.

PORTABLE PHONE CHARGERS – To ensure Fairgoers capture every moment of fun, we recommend bringing a portable charger.

SUNSCREEN – When visiting during the day time, sunscreen is essential to protect your skin while having a safe and enjoyable experience at the Fair.

LEAVE AT HOME

YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US! PLEASE LEAVE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AT HOME:

  • Outside Food Or Drink
  • Firearms/ Ammunition
  • Pepper Spray/ Mace
  • Tasers/ Stun Gun Devices
  • Knives With Blades Longer Than 2″
  • Sharp Metal Objects And Anything Else That Could Be Considered A Weapon
  • Narcotics/ Illegal Substances
  • Marijuana
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Glass Bottles
  • Laser Pointers
  • Selfie Sticks/ Tripods
  • Sharpies

Surrendered items will not be returned.
