Parking & Transportation – Plan Ahead!
Gates open at 5 PM, and we recommend arriving early to make the most of your night at the Fair. Here are the best ways to get here:
1. Rideshare (Best Option)
The fastest and smoothest way to get here is by using rideshare. Pick-up/Drop-off is located at the Southwest corner of the West Lot at 19th Avenue and Encanto.
2. Free Parking + Shuttle
Park for FREE and ride our convenient shuttle:
The State Capitol Lot (1400 W. Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85007) or Phoenix College Lot (Thomas Rd &, N 13th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85013)
Shuttles begin running at 5 PM and provide direct service to and from the Fair.
3. Official Fair Parking (Limited)
The Arizona State Fair operates two paid parking lots for $15. These lots will fill quickly – arrive very early if you plan to use them.

North Lot: Enter from 19th Ave and Monte Vista or Encanto.

West Lot: Enter between 19th and 20th Avenues off Encanto.
Important Notes for Arrival
Arrive Early: Plan to arrive when gates open at 5 PM. Enjoy a classic Fair snack (yes, something fried on a stick!), and catch live music on the Backyard Stage starting at 5:20 PM. Once you’re inside the Fairgrounds, the fun truly begins! Enjoy everything the Fair has to offer, from thrilling rides to delicious food. Maximize your fun with a Dream Pass: you’ll get 10 rides or games for just $45. Or, for the ultimate experience, rent a cozy Cabana: a perfect, cool place for you and your friends to relax. Did we mention the cabanas also have a view of the side-stage performances? It’s a win-win!
The Backyard Stage – Festival-Style Programming: Enjoy performances outside the Coliseum before and after The Format’s concert.

Plus: The Format merch booth opens early in the Backyard – grab yours before heading inside.
Accessibility: Accessible parking is first-come, first-served in the North Lot (closest for ADA access). ADA shuttles are also available from the State Capitol Lot and Phoenix College Lot.
