Special Days

Special Days are a tradition at the Arizona State Fair.

GOHS Public Safety Days - Law Enforcement - Saturday, October 11, more than 30 statewide safety organizations share their tips to make home, vehicle and life more secure during the run of the Fair. Kids get a free Buckles the Seat Belt Bear.

Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Fire & Rescue Day
On Sunday, October 12, kids can learn about fire and rescue techniques, as well as ways to stay safe and prevent fires.

Armed Forces Day
Friday, October 17 is a day in honor of America's active duty personnel and their families. FREE Fair admission on the 17th for military personnel and their dependents with a valid military ID. Participants must enter at the Encanto admission gate, located on the northeast corner of the Fairgrounds.

2008 Arizona State Fair Sale of Champions - Sunday, October 19 at 6:30 pm. An auction of prize-winning animals raised by Arizona’s youth; many of whom participate in 4-H and FFA programs statewide. The auction encourages youth to continue the pursuit of agriculture education. See it in the Agriculture Center.
Senior Day
On Wednesday, October 29, celebrate Arizona’s seniors and their special talents, contributions and unique flair. La Grande Wheel and Carousel rides are FREE to Seniors!
