FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

2009 State Fair Invites Competitors Statewide
Free and Convenient delivery service offered
to Exhibitors outside of Phoenix

The Arizona State Fair makes it easy for exhibitors living outside the metro Phoenix area to participate in the Fair's competitive entries. Prospective exhibitors can take advantage of the Fair's outreach service which will pick up their entries, deliver them to the Fair for judging and return them at the end of the Fair. Best of all, it's all FREE.

Drivers will transport entries to and from the Fair from designated county outreach locations in the following categories:

Floriculture - dried arrangements and dried wall hangings. Pack in box with bubble wrap; a picture of the display is recommended

Creative Crafts & Collections
Culinary Arts - canned goods only
Agriculture Sciences
Student Arts & Technology
4-H - except food, live plants and animals
Some items are excluded from this program, including Fine Arts and Photography, due to their fragile nature or special entry deadlines. Local County Ambassadors can answer specific questions regarding this and transportation of agricultural entries.

There are three easy steps to get your entry in:

1. Select the items you would like to enter in the 2009 Arizona State Fair.

2. Complete your form and mail it with the entry fee to:

Arizona State Fair - Entry Dept.

1826 W. McDowell Rd.

Phoenix, Arizona 85007

3. Drop off the items at the location listed for your county.

The Fair's online exhibitor handbook can be found at http://www.azstatefair.com/exhibitors/exhibitors.aspx
