Cotton Candy Lady Naming Contest

General rules

1. No purchase necessary.
2. Entering contest subscribes entrant to the ASF E-Newsletter.
3. All winners must be 18 years of age or older.
4. Winners are responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes which may be due upon receipt of prize. 
5. Prize must be redeemed between October 10 - November 2, 2008.

Prize

Contest winner receives a Family Fun Pack which includes 4 Fair admission tickets and 6 ride passes. (Value: $80.00 - Not redeemable for cash.)

Entering contest and choosing and contacting winner

  • Entrants must submit a name using the form on the web site, located at http://www.azstatefair.com/NamingContest/contactrequest.aspx with a valid email address and name. All entries will be accepted chronologically using the time/date stamp on the emailed entry form. In the event of duplicate name submissions, only the earliest instance of that name will be considered a valid entry. Duplicate submissions will not increase the chances of winning.
  • ASF will select up to ten names from entries received between July 1, 2008 and August 30, 2008. To determine the winner, ASF will then conduct an online poll from September 1, 2008 - September 21, 2008. The winner will be the the entrant whose name selection receives the most votes.
  • Contest winner will be contacted at the “sender” e-mail address used to enter the contest, and the person receiving and replying to the winner announcement e-mail will be considered the winner if they meet all contest requirements and rules. Winner must respond to notification email within 2 weeks of the email date. Prize is non-transferable. ASF will mail the prize to said winner.
  • Limit one entry per person.
  • The winning name shall become the property of ASF and may be used by ASF in its ad campaign without any further compensation to winner.

Submission of photo, text or other content

  • Winners agree to release their name and city of residence to be used by ASF for whatever purpose the organization deems necessary without further compensation.

Awarding Prizes

  • Upon winner notification, prizewinner must supply ASF with his/her legal name, mailing address, birth date, daytime and nighttime telephone numbers.
  • Neither ASF nor employees of ASF or sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of the prize.
  • Employees of the ASF and Ray Cammack Shows are not eligible to win.
  • Contest results and a copy of these official rules may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Marketing, Arizona State Fair, 1826 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85007.
